Is it Spring yet?

I'm over winter which is really a problem since it's only just begun.  That is why I absolutely love the new photos of Nicole Kidman in the February issue of Harper's Bazaar.  They are like a breath of fresh air and are making me forget to that it's supposed to snow in New York tomorrow.  How many more months until Spring?

Chic at Home: Vanessa Traina

The November issue of Harper's Bazaar finally arrived yesterday.  The first thing I did was turn to A Fashionable Life which is my favorite feature.  This month, we get to peek into the West Village apartment of the downtown "it girl" Vanessa Traina shot by The Selby.  (There are more photos online and in the magazine.)  For those of you who don't know, Vanessa is the daughter of Danielle Steele and is also a Chanel ambassador and occasional model.  It's refreshing to see a home that hasn't been perfectly put together by an interior designer and reflects the owner's personal style.  Although, she's friends with Ryan Korban so I wonder if he helped her.  Also in the magazine is a great look inside shoe designer Charlotte Dellal's London flat.  I think Harper's Bazaar is definitely giving Vogue a run for their money. Enjoy!

Bravo Bazaar!

I've always loved Harper's Bazaar but it seems like lately they can do no wrong.  My October 2010 issue arrived today and I've already found myself drooling over everything.  What I love most about Bazaar is that they always feature reasonably priced fashions that I can afford actually amidst all the aspirational outfits.  A Fashionable Life is also a favorite feature as well as their cover shoots.  This month Drew Barrymore is styled as a 1960's screen goddess in another gorgeous interior just as Gwyneth Paltrow was a few months ago.  I say bravo Bazaar and keep up the great work!

NYFW: Stylish Editor Joanna Hillman

The best fashions are often found off the runway during fashion week.   It's interesting and inspiring to watch what the editors and buyers are wearing to the tents.  One of the those with a very chic personal style is Harper's Bazaar Senior Fashion Market Editor Joanna Hillman.  I saw her during resort and a few times this week and she always looks amazing.  Her style is cool but never trendy.  She also doesn't look like she's trying too hard which is a rarity in the fashion world.  I absolutely love her hair and ever present sunglasses too.  Enjoy!
